BTM/MRM Course (IMO Model course 1.22)

The BTM 5 day course has been designated as per IMO 1.22 detailed teaching syllabus while enriched with additional “Maritime Resource Management  Modules” with which participants can improve their management skills, using existing crew members  through delegations and precise division of duties avoiding workload conditions.

Furthermore the course includes practice exercises on the Bridge Simulator such as: Shallow water effects, bank effects, interaction, crash stop, radius of turn, anchorage with adverse currents, lateral winds, mono-buoy mooring, heavy traffic navigation etc.

This course is especially designed for Masters, Chief Officers and Port captains.  Furthermore, Costamare MTS is able to build / modify customised exercises as per clients particular needs and demands. The course is to be approved by Major Flag Administrations and Classification Societies.
